Syndeo is hiring for a 1st shift lab technician for an aluminum metal processing plant in Wichita, KS. In this position you will be performing hardness testing and support metallurgical lab processes.

Shift: Monday – Friday 5:30 am - 3:00 pm 

Pay: $17/Hour based on skills, experience & work ethic

Responsibilities

·  Perform manual hardness testing using lab equipment

·  Prepare and inspect samples for accurate readings

·  Document measurements and maintain clean work areas

·  Learn micro‑hardness testing, polishing, and saw operation over time

·  Use of an electric wand to get readings on aluminum metal 

·  Handle cold-mount chemicals safely (non‑burning and low‑risk)

Requirements

·  Strong attention to detail

·  Solid work ethic and reliability

·  Comfortable working with tools and measurements

·  Willing to learn hands‑on lab processes

Experience in any of the following is a plus

·  Hardness testing

·  Microstructure or case depth analysis

·  Lab saw operation

·  Sample mounting or polishing

No degree is required and we are willing to train the right candidate for this role.
