Syndeo Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established cosmetic and surgical practice in Wichita, KS. We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated healthcare professional who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

This position will provide direct patient support while assisting providers with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a medical office setting and be comfortable working with patients throughout various stages of treatment and care.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM – Shifts could run later based on customer needs.

Pay: $19.00/hour DOE

Opportunity to earn a small commission on product and service sales after one year of employment

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical history
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed
• Assist physicians during minor surgical procedures
• Remove sutures and provide post-procedure patient care
• Operate and maintain office laboratory equipment
• Educate patients on available products and services
• Support product and service sales initiatives
• Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Travel between the East and West Wichita clinic locations as needed

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting required
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Plastic surgery experience
• Experience with suture removal
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Medical Assistant Certification
