Syndeo Staffing is searching for the right person to join a family-owned ag-fertilizer supply company as a Manufacturing Associate in El Dorado, KS. This is a direct hire opportunity.

The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for providing support to the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, under the direction of the Production Supervisor. This person will be responsible for operating manufacturing/packaging equipment, which includes equipment set-up, checking for the quality of the product, and meeting production schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap, and bagging equipment
• Hanging and sealing bags of product
• Filling and sealing shaker bottles of product
• Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level
• Place product on pallets according to specifications
• Assist with maintaining equipment which includes cleaning out production equipment and lines
• Stuffing product labels at a medium to fast pace
• Hand mix product when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Demonstrated ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment
• Mechanical and technical skills with exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and cold along with humid conditions and dust

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 7 am – 4:30 pm

Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 4:00 pm

Pay:

$15 - $16 DOE
