Restaurant Manager

Syndeo Staffing has a direct-hire opportunity for a Manager for a local BBQ restaurant and bar.  

 Job Responsibilities:

  • The Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the work of a team of 6-9
  • Satisfies customers by providing a pleasant dining experience.
  • Accomplishes objectives by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing team contributions
  • Achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.
  • Meets restaurant financial objectives by driving sales and ensuring customer service objectives are met.
  • Reconcile cash drawers

Restaurant Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • Customer service, verbal communication
  • People Management, including fostering teamwork, and giving feedback
  • Self-motivated, high energy, multi-tasking
  • Resolving conflict
  • Verbal communication

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hospitality-related experience
  • 1+ years of restaurant manager or leadership experience
  • Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Marketing skills preferred but not required

Schedule: Monday – Saturday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
