Restaurant Manager

Syndeo Staffing has a direct-hire opportunity for a Manager for a local BBQ restaurant and bar.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the work of a team of 6-9
- Satisfies customers by providing a pleasant dining experience.
- Accomplishes objectives by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing team contributions
- Achieves restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.
- Meets restaurant financial objectives by driving sales and ensuring customer service objectives are met.
- Reconcile cash drawers
Restaurant Manager Qualifications/Skills:
- Customer service, verbal communication
- People Management, including fostering teamwork, and giving feedback
- Self-motivated, high energy, multi-tasking
- Resolving conflict
- Verbal communication
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- 3+ years of hospitality-related experience
- 1+ years of restaurant manager or leadership experience
- Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software
- High school diploma or GED
- Marketing skills preferred but not required
Schedule: Monday – Saturday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
