Office Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee essential financial and administrative functions at our custom manufacturing facility in Bel Aire, Kansas. This role is responsible for managing invoicing, accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), month-end closing, payroll processing, quarterly reporting, and preparation for audits. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage invoicing and ensure timely and accurate billing
- Oversee accounts payable (A/P), including processing vendor invoices and payments
- Handle accounts receivable (A/R), including customer billing and collections
- Conduct month-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
- Prepare quarterly reports, including tax filings and financial summaries
- Assist in the preparation for audits, gathering necessary documentation and ensuring compliance
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and reports
- Work closely with management to support financial decision-making
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Perform general office administration duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting or related field highly beneficial
- Previous experience in an office management or accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in accounting software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Sage/MAS 90 experience helpful
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and record-keeping with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
