Syndeo has a direct hire opportunity for a Production Lead with our client in El Dorado, KS.  The Production Lead, under the direction of the Facility Manager, is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations and ensuring the timely production of high-quality products used in agricultural and industrial markets. 

As the Production Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10-15 production workers, monitoring production schedules, upholding quality control measures, and optimizing production processes to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm

Pay:$18/hour BOE 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve production goals, meet customer demands, and minimize production downtime.
• Monitor production schedules to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a safe working environment.
• Train and mentor production employees, providing guidance and support to maximize their performance and commitment.
• Uphold quality control measures and ensure products meet established standards.
• Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot production issues or machinery breakdowns, coordinating with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and ensure prompt resolution.
• Regularly assess production processes, equipment, and machinery to identify opportunities for optimization, upgrades, or replacements.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Lead or similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of production management principles, techniques, and methodologies
• Experience in fertilizer or agriculture preferred
